Day 1
Upon arrival at Srinagar Sheikh–Ul- Alam International Airport, you will be met by our representative. Check in at Hotel in Srinagar. Relax and refresh yourself. If time permits spend rest of day on banks of dal lake. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 2
Afte breakfast we take a visit to Mughal Gardens, Nishat Garden known as ‘Garden of pleasure’ built in 16th century (1633) by Mughal King Asif Khan. Then visit to Shalimar Garden known as ‘Garden of love’ built in 16th century (1619) by Mughal King Jahangir for his beloved wife Noor Jahan or (Mehr- un-Nissa) & Chashmashahi (The Royal Spring). The Chashmashahi Mughal garden in Srinagar had been loved by emperors and picnickers alike. Later we visit Pari Mahal. The next thing we will do is enjoy an amazing 1-hour shikara ride across Dal Lake. Drive along the Lake side on Boulevard. Evening we visit Shankaracharya Temple. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 3
Morning: Scenic Drive to Gulmarg After a hearty breakfast, set off for a picturesque drive to Gulmarg, passing by willow trees, sparkling streams, and lush green meadows. Known as the "Meadow of Flowers," Gulmarg is a breathtaking destination, surrounded by towering snow-capped peaks and dense forests of tall conifers, fir, and pine trees. Midday: Explore Gulmarg's Natural Beauty Upon arrival, immerse yourself in the beauty of the lush meadows. You can take a leisurely stroll or opt for a pony ride (at your own expense) across the verdant landscape. Don’t miss a visit to one of the world’s highest golf courses, where you can marvel at the stunning panoramic views. A highlight of your visit is the Gondola lift, offering a thrilling ride that takes you up to the highest points of Gulmarg, giving you a bird’s eye view of the snow-covered peaks and rolling valleys below. The experience is bound to leave you spellbound. Overnight stay at Srinagar.
Day 4
Morning: After breakfast proceed for your day excursion to Sonmarg (Meadow of Gold). On the way one can enjoy the beauty of the Sind valley. Sonmarg is at a height of 2690mts above sea level. The blooming Valley has been chiselled over the ages by the mighty Indus River. Major trekking routes begin from here. Two Lakes – Gadsar and Satsar are on the periphery of Sonmarg. Sonmarg is sheer scenic splendor. The very way- metalled road snakes through massive mountains laden with firs and forests. Arrive Sonmarg and visit to Thajiwas Glacier where snow remains throughout the year. Evening: Return back to Srinagar & check in at Houseboat. Enjoy a relaxing and comfortable overnight Houseboat stay.
Day 5
Morning: After breakfast we leave Srinagar, taking the scenic Baramulla Highway. The drive features sweeping views of the Jhelum River and surrounding snow-capped Pir Panjal peaks. Pass through Apple orchards and visit the ancient ruins of Pattan or the Datta Temple near Boniyar. Arrival in Uri: Upon reaching the town, check in with the local authorities to validate your permits. Explore the scattered mountain settlement of Uri. Enjoy the beautiful vantage points overlooking the Jhelum River as it snakes into the valley. Head out to explore the border regions. We will visit the Salamabad area (known for the cross-LOC trade point). Travel towards the Kaman Post (*subject to strict clearance). This is the closest you can get to the LOC and the Aman Setu bridge that connects the divided sections of Kashmir. Overnight stay at Srinagar
Day 6
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel and begin your journey to Pahalgam. The town, at 2,133 meters, is known as "The Valley of Shepherds" and is a popular destination for trekkers. Enroute Visits: Saffron Fields: Stop to see the famous saffron fields. Bat Factory: Visit the Bat Factory. Apple Gardens: Explore the lush apple gardens. Awantipora Ruins: Visit the 1100-year-old temple of Lord Vishnu, built by King Avantiverma. Enjoy the scenic countryside, rice fields, and views along the way. Evening: Check in to the hotel in Pahalgam and overnight stay at Hotel.
Day 7
Morning: After breakfast, check out from the hotel to visit Chandanwari, Betaab Valley and Aru Valley by local union cab. ARU VALLEY is located around 12 km from Pahalgam, 11 km upstream from the Lidder River. Noted for its scenic meadows, lakes and mountains, it is a base camp for trekking to the Kolhoi Glacier and Tarsar Lake. Aru valley is noted for its scenic meadows. It is popular among the tourists for its peaceful environment and scenic beauty. BETAAB VALLEY is situated at a distance of 15 kilometres from Pahalgam. The valley got its name from the Sunny Deol– Amrita Singh hit debut film Betaab. The valley is surrounded by lush green meadows, snow clad mountains and has dense vegetation. The crystal clear & chilly water of the stream bubbling down from the snowy hills is a delight. Baisaran and Tulian Lake are few nearby attractions that can be visited. Chandanwari which is situated 16 km from Pahalgam, is the starting point of the Amarnath Yatra, which takes place every year in the month of Sawan (Rain).
